About us

Established in 1974, the Endeavour Hills Cricket Club fields a number of senior and junior teams that play in the Victorian Sub District Cricket Association (VSDCA), Dandenong District Cricket Association (DDCA), Ferntree Gully & District Cricket Association (FTGDCA), Inner South East Cricket (ISEC), CCCA, ECA, EGWC, and Veterans Cricket Victoria leagues in and around the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Managed as an integrated club across all of our competing divisions – Seniors, Juniors, Women’s, and Veterans – Endeavour Hills Cricket Club has a proud 50-year history built on the principles of high-level development, sportsmanship, and maintaining a supportive, family-friendly environment for all involved in the club.

Our ‘one team’ approach results in our Senior playing squad being actively involved and integrated with our Junior and Women’s teams — from match-day preparation and coaching to player mentorship and social events.

The Endeavour Hills Cricket Club fields the following teams:

• Seniors: Teams competing in the Victorian Sub District Cricket Association (VSDCA) across all four grades (1st XI through 4th XI).
• J.G. Craig Shield: An Under 15 Representative squad that competes annually in the prestigious VSDCA J.G. Craig Shield carnival each January.
• Juniors: Teams ranging from Woolworths Cricket Blast (U10) through to Under 17s across synthetic and turf competitions in FTGDCA, DDCA, and ISEC playing on Friday evenings, Saturday mornings, and Sunday mornings.
• Women's & Veterans: Teams offering pathways for women's cricket as well as Over 50s and Over 70s competition.

At Endeavour Hills Cricket Club, we recognise the vital importance of nurturing young talent through elite development initiatives like the J.G. Craig Shield program. While we play a key role in the broader Cricket Victoria player pathway, we also prioritise our club’s ongoing sustainability and competitiveness. Fielding a J.G. Craig Shield team not only attracts promising young talent to Kennington Park, but also strengthens our senior ranks and ensures our viability for decades to come.

We operate as one cohesive unit across all divisions. This ‘one team’ philosophy ensures seamless integration, facilitating mentorship, training, and social interaction among players of all levels. By actively involving senior players and coaches in mentoring our juniors, we cultivate a culture of excellence and camaraderie that transcends age and experience.
